1. Who we are
AVIBooking OÜ ("AVIBooking", "we", "us") is a live animal air cargo booking coordination service registered in Estonia. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any privacy matter, contact us at anthony@avibooking.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the information you provide to us directly through the forms on this website:
- Company or agency name
- Business email address
- Shipment details you choose to share (routes, animal details, dates, volumes)
- Any other information you include in your message
We also use Google Analytics, which collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type) via cookies. We do not use this data to identify individuals.
3. Why we collect it and on what legal basis
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, and coordinate bookings you request. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in operating a B2B service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it.
4. Who processes your data
Form submissions are transmitted via Formspree, Inc. and delivered to our email hosted by Google Workspace. Our website is hosted on Netlify. Analytics are provided by Google Analytics. These providers act as data processors and may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, where a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by Estonian accounting and tax law. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are deleted within 24 months.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email anthony@avibooking.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
7. Cookies
This website uses cookies solely for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without affecting the functioning of the site.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies. Material changes will be indicated by an updated version number and date above.
